Ozempic Weight Loss Program in Woodland Hills, CA

What is Ozempic?

Ozempic (Semaglutide) is an FDA Approved medication used to treat people with high blood sugar. It has been used in medicine for almost 10 years to treat diabetes and high blood sugar, and it was recently FDA approved to be used as a primary treatment for weight loss, even for those without Diabetes or high blood sugar!

What is Our Ozempic Weight Loss Program

Our weight loss program is a is a year-long personalized medical weight loss treatment under medical supervision, which includes weekly injections, monthly medical follow ups, and a combination of Ozempic plus Vitamin Injections to help you reach your weight loss goals!

What medications are used? Are they safe?

Our office ONLY uses FDA-Approved, Brand Name Ozempic (made by Novo Nordisk). We never use Peptides that are made in uncertified labs, unsafe, or “homemade”. We do not use fake “Semaglutide” compounded by unlicensed and unsupervised compounding pharmacies. Our Ozempic is 100% genuine, purchased from certified pharmacies, made directly by Novo Nordisk, and available ONLY by prescription from a licensed medical doctor. If any other med spa is offering Semaglutide without telling you the source, or claiming that is it a certified compound, or “like Ozempic” then you should be wary. Unfortunately, a survey found that almost 95% of med spas in California are using unlicensed, uncertified, unsafe peptides that they are claiming is Ozempic or “the same as” Ozempic, without warning patients about the serious harms associated with illegal compounds and peptides!

Our curated weight loss plan also includes a combination therapy with Vitamins that assist in the weight loss process; based on how your body is responding to the Ozempic, and to help boost fat burning instead of other energy metabolism by your body, we include injections of Vitamin B12, Vitamin B3 Niacin, Lipotropic MIC (Methionine, Inositol, Choline), Taurine, Arginine, and Glutathione.
Each of these vitamins have their own benefits and aid in Fat Metabolism, breakdown of complex fats in the body, and increased energy production from burning those energy-dense fat molecules in your body.

How do I get started?

All our treatments include a complimentary consultation with a medical provider to see if you are a good candidate. The main criteria is your weight. To achieve weight loss, you need to have some excess weight to lose. Your BMI has to be at least 25, and if you don’t know what yours is, that’s fine, we can find out in office and see if you qualify!

A thorough medical and family history is taken, and preliminary assessment is done. If you qualify, you can start treatment the same day as your consultation!

Do I have to inject myself?

No, you don’t have to! Our treatment includes weekly office visits that take about 2-3 minutes, and our medical providers can give you your weekly injection in your arm. If you’d like to avoid coming in the office and feel comfortable injecting yourself, you can take our pre-filled syringes home, and inject yourself for up to 4 weeks at a time, and only come in for your monthly medical check-ins.

How much does all this cost?

We like to be transparent about all our pricing, and we’ve made it as easy as possible!
The treatment costs $200 per week, for our healthy stable weight loss plan. This includes weekly injections, and one month of vitamin supplements to help give you the added boost in the beginning of your journey to trigger fat metabolism by your body. For aggressive weight loss, we also have an intense plan for treatment doses of 1.25 mg and above, where the price becomes $275 per week for any week that you are dosing 1.25 mg and above. Most patients do not need to do the intensive weight loss plan, and that is only for specific cases, or temporary boosts, and then decreasing back down to the 0.5 mg to 1 mg range of healthy stable weight loss.
All treatment plans also have a $400 treatment initiation cost that you have to pay the first time you start the treatment. The consultation is 100% free, so you’ll only have to pay the $400 initiation cost once you start the treatment.
Weekly vitamin injections are also included at no extra charge for one month, to help kick-start fat-breakdown, and target metabolism of complex fat molecules in the body. After the initial weight loss process starts, vitamins can be added at any time to specifically target different types of fat metabolism based on your needs.

Understanding How Ozempic (Semaglutide) Works:

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). The way it works is very similar to the signal molecules sent out by your stomach to tell your brain when you’ve had enough to eat. Instead of other invasive treatments, or drugs that mimic hormones, Ozempic mimics a messenger molecule which is released from your stomach, and tells your brain “I’ve had enough food”.
By having enough GLP-1 in your bloodstream, your brain feels satisfied more often throughout the day, and doesn’t get as many cravings for snacks, junk food, and treats. Ultimately, Ozempic helps make it easier to say no to snacks and unnecessary meals, and helps you choose to only eat when you’re hungry.

Overweight people don’t just have high amounts of fat storage in their fat cells, but they also have an excess of fat-cells, which may lead to their brain and body become insensitive to signals of fullness. Fat cells release a molecule called Leptin, and the more fat cells you have, the more leptin is circulating in your bloodstream at all times. Leptin is a signal molecule very much like GLP-1, in that it tells your brain when it should feel full and not hungry; but when you have too much Leptin in your blood, your brain starts ignoring the signals of fullness! It’s like hearing a constant nagging that you’re full, you eventually start ignoring it and eat anyways even though your body hormones are telling you to stop. As a person gets more obese, it actually becomes a biological challenge to feel full!

That’s where GLP-1 (Ozempic) comes in! It’s a new signal molecule which acts like Leptin, and actually succeeds in telling your brain to stop eating and feel full!
This sense of “Fullness” is also called Satiety, and has often been associated with feeling content, happy, satisfied, and good. Often times, when people lose weight, and their body becomes receptive to the signal molecules of satiety, it also helps make it easier to quit smoking, quick drugs, and other addictive behaviors, because the brain is more easily able to feel satisfied and good.

How do Vitamin Injections help with Weight Loss?

Vitamins play a huge role in our bodies day to day functions. They help in reactions our body does every day to create energy, use energy, burn fat and sugars, and keep our body flowing smoothly. By injecting vitamins that help with certain aspects of energy usage, we can stimulate the body to burn fat as it’s main source of energy usage instead of burning proteins, carbs, and muscle! Since the goal of our weight loss plan is mainly fat loss and slimming of the waist, we curate your treatment regimen to include vitamins that help boost metabolism of fat molecules in the body.

Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12): Many studies suggest that vitamin B12 affects body fat metabolism. A medical case study review found that vitamin B12 plays a key role in fat metabolism, and determined that a deficiency in Vitamin B12 could be linked to increased fat accumulation and obesity.

Niacin (Vitamin B3): Many believe that Niacin may help break down fat cells and rid the body of toxins. Niacin is an important B vitamin that helps raise levels of high-density lipoproteins (HDL), the “good” cholesterol, and lower triglycerides in the body and bloodstream. Niacin has long been used to lower triglycerides and to increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. Niacin also inhibits fatty acid flux from adipose tissue to liver, reduces hepatic triglyceride synthesis and increases liver fat oxidation.

Lipotropic MIC (Methionine, Inositol, Choline): This group of “Lipotropic” vitamins, help break down Lipids and Fat during metabolism! That’s the definition of Lipotropic. Methionine, Inositol, and Choline work together to help metabolize fat cells and assist in the elimination of stored fat deposits in the liver and body, and encourage fat reduction. MIC shots are known to not only reduce fat, but may also increase metabolism and energy availability.

Glutathione: Glutathione helps with weight loss because it helps your body shift from fat production to muscle development. It also helps your body burn off fat cells, and it helps your liver remove toxins both of which lead to losing weight.

Taurine: Supplementation of taurine in the diet, and via vitamin injections can help to regulate the mitochondrial activity and the expression of fatty acid oxidation-related genes in the body, this can help to improve lipid and fat metabolism and breakdown in the body.  Taurine can also help prevent muscle damage during exercise, and assist in targeting fat loss when losing weight!

Arginine: Arginine works by using converting your body’s fat reserves into energy. Your body’s fat reserves are consumed to produce energy, and also aid muscle mass formation and development.

Let our medical providers curate an exact regimen of Ozempic plus Vitamins that your body needs to target fat-burning weight loss, and slimming specifically in the abdominal region and other hard-to-burn fat areas!
